Kakaruwai are intelligent and curious little birds, they are famous for being approachable and are well loved because of their friendly nature. They will often accompany people while walking in native bush and are even known to get so close as to jump on shoes and nibble at shoe laces! They are lovely little birds and such a joy to spend time watching.

This print is created with long-lasting matte pigment inks on textured, high quality archival 100% cotton rag. (Cotton rag is an environmentally responsible paper made from lint fibres - a by-product of the cotton industry).
