Heart of the forest features one of NZ’s most recognisable and adored birds, the iconic tūī.

Tūī are famous for their intricate plumage and impressive, varied song. They are found throughout New Zealand and thrive in predator controlled areas, where their song can be hear above most other birds, they are the lead singers of our native bird chorus. This tūī is perched on kawakawa - a plant famous for their heart shaped leaves.

This art print is based on an original hand-painted gouache artwork. Each print is created with long-lasting matte pigment inks on textured, high quality archival 100% cotton rag paper.
