Kākāpō don’t need much of an introduction, they are known around their world for their unusual characteristics - they are large, nocturnal, flightless, long lived and sweet smelling. Sadly these charismatic birds are very rare, so rare that each individual is known by name. They are well managed by conservationists who make sure that the maximum amount of chicks survive each breeding season and become part of the population.

This art print is based on an original hand-painted gouache artwork. Each print is created with long-lasting matte pigment inks on textured, high quality archival 100% cotton rag paper.
