Crimson kākā features a soaring kākā / bush parrot.

Kākā are large, loveable, noisy parrots found in fragments of native forest around the country. Despite their boisterous nature, they are endangered and don’t do well in areas with introduced pests and domestic pets. Luckily kākā numbers are increasing in some areas and their distinctive call can be heard in more areas.

This art print is based on an original hand-painted gouache artwork. Each print is created with long-lasting matte pigment inks on textured, high quality archival 100% cotton rag paper.
