Two tauhou features a pair of tauhou / waxeyes perched on a fern.

Tauhou are small, chatty, social birds that hang out in groups for most of the year, although you’re only likely to see them in your garden during the cooler months. Tauhou are mostly olive green and grey in colour and their english name references the delicate halo of white feathers that surround their eyes. They are a delight to watch as they forage for berries and chat to each other, pairs also have an adorable habit of huddling and preening one another.
